How to Convert VMware ESX VM to Hyper-V
To convert a VMware ESX / ESXi virtual machine to a Hyper-V virtual machine, you could use a new tool called “Microsoft Virtual Machine Converter”

Requirements to convert ESX VMs to Hyper-V using Microsoft Virtual Machine Converter:
You need to use a local administrator user.
Install the MSI on one of these operating systems: Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Server 2012
Before you install MVMC, you must install the following software on the computer on which MVMC will run:
- Operating systems: Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2, or Windows Server 2012 (full installation)
- Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 and Microsoft .NET Framework 4 if installing MVMC on Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2
- Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5 if installing MVMC on Windows Server 2012

- VMware vSphere Client 4.1
- VMware vSphere Client 5.0
- Before installing Microsoft Virtual Machine Converter Plug-in for VMware vSphere Client, you will need one of the following versions of vSphere Client, in addition to the system requirements for Microsoft Virtual Machine Converter:
